After All is another great album of original music from a very original and authentic lady. Joni sings from the heart and you can tell she loves every aspect of being able to perform her music just for you.
Kick of Fire -Take a look at the cover photo; this is not your typical Trudy album. Familiar melodies with all new lyrics, titles like:
Whose Sorry Cow and
Gone to Get a Bull. Get the idea? These recordings capture Trudy's love for big band music and cattle, you know, Glenn Miller and Guernseys. A real treat, and as always, Trudy's voice shines through.
Old Friends -You have heard people refer to individuals as the real thing and that would have to be Jeff Nourse. I've known Jeff for just about as long as I've been in this part of the world and have always been impressed by what a good hand Jeff is. Whether working cattle, packing in the high country, Dutch oven cooking, black-smithing or pickin' and singing', Jeff does it with style and a smile. Jeff has a distinctive voice that's easy to listen to. On this CD he covers 11 songs (2 originals) and his selections and arrangements are just right.
Moonlight On the Colorado is a real nice album we just kinda' stumbled on to. This album is easy to listen to with traditional West Texas fiddle tunes and a couple of great originals. Joe is a fourth generation fiddler from McAdoo, Texas, who in 1968 at the age of 16, became the Texas State Fiddle Champion. He also went on to win the super Picker Award from the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences in 1976.
