BOOK ARTS BONANZA Explore the world of handmade books Thursday through Saturday October 12ñ14 at the Second Annual Book Arts Bonanza hosted by the Press of the Palace of the Governors, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Artists will guide you through traditional book art techniques, and an outdoor market will offer contemporary book works at this free educational event scheduled to take place in the courtyard of the Palace of the Governors Museum.

Papermaking,quill cutting, wood and linoleum block printing, paper marbling, pop-up engineering, hand bookbinding and pinhole camera photography are just a few of the demonstrations that will take place continuously during the

 

 

three–day period, 9 AM–noon
and 1–3:30 PM. Thursday and Friday are reserved for one-hour school tours, Saturday for general admission. Call the Museum Admissions Office (505) 476-5008 to schedule group visits.

Special Print Shop Visits, including lectures or hands-on activities can be arranged for small groups of adults or children by contacting the Museum Admissions Office at (505) 476-5008.
